CityServe Book project
CityServe is a new book written by forty leading experts in community-based and global compassion. Dave Donaldson, co-founder of Convoy of Hope, and Wendel Vinson, co-founder of CityServe are the book's general editors. The book is a guide for church-based compassion.
After the devasting 2011 Joplin tornado, a client called needing a website they could use to organize cleanup efforts. The tornado happened on a Sunday and the site needed to be up by the following Wednesday. With hard work, the site was launched in less than 3 days. For CityServeBook.com the timeline wasn't as short, but a 2 week deadline is a pretty fast turnaround nonetheless. The CityServe team was well organized which was a tremendous help. It was a privilege to work with them and the site turned out fantastic.
